I went with Public Mobile and bought a phone outright. I pay ~$120 every 90 days for 12GB data and unlimited Ontario calling (it's prepaid and the data is spread across the 90 days). I also get some discounts for autopay ($2/month) and referral credits ($1/referral/month), and every year you're with them you get another $1/month off.

I recently had to buy a new phone for my wife (she's on the same plan and her Nexus 5X died), and I ended up with the new Nokia 6. She's had it for about three weeks now and loves it. I had to order it from Amazon.com (US), but it was $229USD + ~$30 duty/tax/shipping. https://www.amazon.com/Nokia-Unlocked-T-Mobile-Exclusive-Lockscreen/dp/B072C2F3X1/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1501766787&sr=1-3&keywords=nokia%2B6&th=1

It looks like the Nokia 6 is out of stock, but the Honor 6X is also pretty well-reviewed and a little cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/Honor-6X-Unlocked-Smartphone-Gray/dp/B01MRZFBBH/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1501766838&sr=1-3&keywords=honor%2B6x&th=1

People also like the Moto G Plus around the same price: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N5MEKSW/ref=br_imp_ara-6?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=detail-ilm&pf_rd_r=YQ900GVEM9A76YQES253&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=3152077502&pf_rd_i=B071VZKDDP&th=1

My pleasure! My set-up is just two bins—one inside the other. The inner one has holes in the bottom, which lets the liquids drip through. I also have a lid with lots of holes in it. I'm thinking of investing in a "real" set-up like this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Urban-Worm-Bag-Composting-Version/dp/B078RHPWZ4/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=worm+composter&qid=1568920581&s=gateway&sr=8-4

If you decide you want to get into worm composting (after you've researched it), let me know and I could take stock of my worm population to see if there are enough worms to start a new worm city. ;)

This particular "hobby" is especially attractive if you're an avid gardener. Worm castings are an incredible, fully natural fertilizer.

Edit: And of course, there's a subreddit for that: https://www.reddit.com/r/Vermiculture/

My recommendation is to get one of these for $10 next time you're on Amazon.

Spätzle recipe is very simple, and nothing in a plastic bag comes even close to fresh, homemade ones. By the time the water comes to boil, you will have whipped up a batch. Grate them into boiling water, scoop up when they surface, and that's it. Enjoy!

Oh, and for the rest of you who have no clue what we're talking about, please order Käsespätzle or Paprikash with a side of spätzle next time you're deciding where to dine out!

some random advice:

Do you do construction? Engineering? The only direction someone has their hands on the scale is towards cheaper. Just because you want it cheaper doesn't make it cheaper to build and operate.

Go read about just how much money is given to the cause of cheap and free parking: https://www.amazon.ca/High-Cost-Free-Parking-Updated/dp/193236496X

In the US at least (and Canada will match this), its BY FAR the biggest government program of any kind.

I didn't even know the microchip feeders were a thing.

I used something similiar to this for years, but I was free-feeding three cats from it:
https://www.amazon.ca/Aspen-Bistro-Programmable-Food-Dispenser/dp/B0016BVY2U/ref=zg_bs_6291910011_28?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=H97GYPJGSWJJ7JJM1KP7

Amazon has a whole category of automatic pet feeders. ( https://www.amazon.ca/Best-Sellers-Pet-Supplies-Automatic-Cat-Feeders/zgbs/pet-supplies/6291910011 ) Reverse the trend, use them for research and then buy it at your local pet store ;)

Just get a sediment pre-filter for your system, it'll extend the life of the reverse osmosis mebrane filter, which I don't see in the pic but you may want to check. They're about $70 new, so membranes are a bit costly to replace every time you have to clean the system.

I am a huge fan of sweet tea. There is literally NOTHING like it here. Pureleaf and goldpeak are fine and all, but they insist on only selling the fruit flavored kinds in Canada. Why can't we have tea flavoured tea?!

Even finding regular black tea (that isn't a 'breakfast blend' or whatever is incredibly difficult. The only pure black tea bags I was able to find was at vincenzos.

I broke down and imported these and just make it myself now.
