Mine were not Honeycomb but did have holes drilled around them. It also went way slower. Near as I could tell they used a soft compound to try to make the ride better but it creates more friction with the ground that way. When I first installed them it went so slow I though I miss adjusted my disc brake but spun the wheels and they worked fine. I was a motorcycle mechanic for about 15years and have a done hundreds of tires. Lube is your friend when changing a tire. Pretty much can do these with your hands and no tools with dish soap and water. The tire I installed. I feel like the extender mine came with was faulty - at the slightest angle it would leak all the air out. I fixed it by wrapping the spinning collar together with the rubber with teflon tape and then duct tape (saw the suggestion on this subreddit). Now I have to unscrew the entire extender to disconnect it, but I barely lose any air in the process.
I also bought a straight metal extender that works like a charm. I'm sure most of the ones on amazon would work, but make sure that the extenders themselves have check valves (some ask you to remove the valve from the tire itself to use on the extender)

I used duct-tape method, though. Had it at home, and it works. 😅
