DO NOT get one from those guys selling them at kiosks or anywhere when they say it's "fully loaded", "programed". Years ago I bought one from them for 130$ ... it was an mbox, the mbox is 34$ on amazon ...

Get any android box on amazon, bestbuy any electronic store. The program these droid box tv sellers install is easy as hell to install and setup. It's as easy to install as any app on android or iphone. Setting it up and customizing it to your needs keeps you flexible when one source goes down or when you want to add another new one. And maybe you'd want one of these. Using the basic android box controller is usable but too time consuming.

Once you have a droid box and connected to the internet get the app KODI from google play.

KODI is an app meant to be a hub to access all your entertainment files on the droidbox, music, pictures, videos. Incidently people use it as hub to view movies and tv from independent websites. There are hundreds of independent website sources. Some movies, some tv, some live streams ... etc. In KODI it's reffered to as ADDONS.

Go to r/Addons4Kodi. There are many how to guides. Just follow them. Some may refer to it as XBMC. XBMC is the older version of KODI.

I would recommend these ADDONs. EXODUS, PHOENIX, SALTS for movies and tv and CCLOUD for live tv. There are literally thousands of international channels on CCLOUD. For spanish you'd have to google specifically for those addons.

Now you have the basics of it. But now you want to make it look presentable. You'd want to customize it youself. Stay away from BUILDS (this is what those sellers install, it's pretty much a copy and paste for them), BUILDS are like a customized theme with their chosen ADDONS.

Google a how to customize KODI. I use the mimic skin and just alter it through it's settings options. Once you have that setup how you like it, go to google play and get XBMC LAUNCHER app. This makes it so when you startup your android box it takes you directly to the KODI main menu.

Hope this give you an idea. It's pretty simple really.

Under their FAQs, the shipping to Canada is only $2.99.

What are your shipping costs and delivery times?

Canada - $2.99 - Standard shipping time is usually 3-7 business days
USA - $6.99 - Standard shipping time is usually 5-10 business days

And these ones on Amazon (12 count) have shipping of $3.34. That's not bad when you consider how much your time and gas cost chasing these around. Good luck!

What's your budget? What size do you need?

Zojirushi rice cookers are excellent quality and sometimes they go on sale on Amazon with a deep discount. For example: https://ca.camelcamelcamel.com/Zojirushi-NS-TSC10/product/B0074CDG6C

Get yourself a good burr grinder, and then you have many more options for beans, and can always have freshly ground. I bought this one probably 6 years ago now, and it hasn't failed me with daily use.

As /u/superpierog said, buy coffee beans with a recent roasting date on the package, and then you can grind them yourself as needed.

I bought this antenna for $20:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00ACDE6FU/ref=pe_386430_121528420_TE_dp_2

I now have 10 channels (all buffalo unfortunately due to the angle of my apartment window) but still better than fish 24/7!

Get a heater like this. I feel your pain. I'll never forget that year and a half in a basement apt.

I can't help you out, but digging those eight holes is the hardest part -- and with that many I likely would have just paid to have them done or rented a two person post hole digger from home depot or where-ever: http://www.aonerent.net/itemimages/12570.jpg

If you are set on digging, using a digging bar can help to loosen up the dirt: https://www.lowes.ca/crowbars/true-temper-t-350-tt-professional-post-hole-diggingtamper-bar_g2446370.html?searchTerm=digging-bar

I dug three holes for a fence extension last year... and damn that was hard work. The rocks and roots were insane.

Also... not sure if it is structurally feasible for the deck you are building (based on size, height, etc), but did you consider a floating deck using deck blocks: https://www.lowes.ca/block/expocrete-8-in-x-12-in-grey-4-way-deck-block_g1351331.html?searchTerm=deck-blocks

Posts are definitely better... but I've built a large shed on over these deck blocks, and two winters later it is still level and in the same place I built it.

Other than that, my only advice for building the deck is: use screws instead of nails, and use a long magnetic bit holder that slides over and holds the screws... saves your back from having to bend over so much. Something like this... but there are lots of varieties that all the hardware stores carry: https://www.amazon.ca/MILWAUKEE-ELEC-48-32-4511-Shockwave-Holder/dp/B00FK8WPP0/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1496351952&sr=8-5&keywords=bit+holder

edit... and if you only have 3 of 8 holes dug, you aren't building the deck tomorrow. You will be lucky to get all 8 holes dug and posts set -- then you have to wait for the concrete to cure a bit.
