I'm not sure if you need one (it's not done installing yet, haven't been able to play it), but I've got a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It's super cheap for a joystick, less than $30 on Amazon, and it's really nice! I've used it for Aerofly and it worked pretty well. If you can't afford/get one, you can probably just use a gamepad for FSX as well.
To be honest not much (in OpenGL). I've just got this book, hoping to change that.
EDIT: I didn't get it yet, luckily. I'm looking at the date. 2005. A bit outdated probably. Suggestions, I'm still searching.
If anybody actually likes this idea of a game, there's actually a good bus game in New York - [City Bus Simulator 2010: New York!] (http://www.amazon.co.uk/City-Bus-Simulator-York-2010/dp/B002WRIB64/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1404496936&sr=8-2&keywords=city+bus+simulator+new+york) By the same people as, uhh, City Bus Simulator Munich... yeah... :p
"Don't have cadbury"
but we do? they actually happen to make my personal favorite candy bar, the caramello:

Space Shuttle & Apollo Mission Simulator
It's a pretty shitty simulator, with lots of unlabeled buttons and no clear direction. It's perfect!
Here's a rough idea of what to expect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2RwTHAAZfw
You're probably not using the right cable. You need to use D-DVI for 144hz, a cable like this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/CPO-Cable-DVI-D-Full-Monitor/dp/B002276Z12/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451378139&sr=8-1&keywords=dual+dvi+cable.
Mine came with one (BenQ XL2411Z)

If you're looking for the closest thing to the TV version of the lineup, you'll want to look for a (much cheaper) copy of New Teen Titans #1. http://www.amazon.com/New-Teen-Titans-The-Archives/dp/1563894858
That lineup has the TV cast plus Kid Flash and Wonder Girl, and is the closest thing there is to the TV show. Though, this version o the Titans is from the 1980s.

Obscure? I don't think so.
you can get the US version for under $10 used on amazon, so it's not that big of a loss. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00002SVMJ/sr=1-1/qid=1421204098/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1421204098&sr=1-1
Actual game link.
edit: I have no clue why the box art is Tekken but I submitted a correction request thingy.
Dan, Robot Wars may sadly be dead BUT the robot fights live on. You can get DVD's on amazon of Amateur robot fights. I have this one and I quite like it. Totally new bots, a few shit camera angles (All amateur after all) but still the robot wars carnage. Its great and I hope you see this.
