That was a comment demonstrating why we are a constitutional republic, and not a pure democracy. Just because 51% says its right, doesnt mean we follow our impulses, and make that law. It is very important that we have enumerated rights preventing 51% from going out and killing 49%. On the same document protecting that, we have the right to bear arms, which is not to be ignored. To say that we can bypass it with a simple majority is saying we can bypass anything in our constitution with a simple majority

That was a genuine question. I really dont see how the Tshirts banned distract from the school day more than non banned t-shirts like these:

Because the t-shirts in question were not threatening. One spelled out the word "love", with various weapons on their side. One said "celebrate diversity", by showing a variety of firearms. The last one was a modified presidential seal, with the bald eagle holding M16s. None made a threat, none made a violent image, and none would have significantly drawn away attention from the school day than any of the graphic t's shown above
Also, you should consider whether your own attitude about how much influence you should have over others is good for anyone.

Fair enough, but it is my right to express my incredulity, and just as they are entitled to argue their opinion, I am entitled to counter argue.
