The boxed version is. ~7 years ago I remember seeing the Capcom Version on Amazon new (maybe just CIB) for $30 but the SNK Version was sold out.
Loose? Nope. The SNK Version is in one of two game blister pack variants, while the Capcom Version isn't. You can buy the cart only for less on eBay, but this blister new for $25 is a pretty good deal if you're curious about every game in it. Or this person has sold over a hundred carts for $10 [here](http://stores.ebay.com/videogamessource/?_dmd=2&_nkw=capcom+card+fighters) with your choice of US, UK, or two UK. Notice how I searched Capcom but only the SNK version shows! You're right on the inverse, however. I can't find anyone selling the Capcom version en mass, likely because it never had a blister and Capcom characters are more popular today.
Nifty, but I assume the coin cell is not tied into the lipo battery? How long does it last? 1200mAh seems a little light... I ended up using these. They work quite well with the back lit screen and last a good amount of time at 3000mAh per cell.
And good to see another FlashMasta in the wild. Reminds me.... I was gonna print a switch for mine last weekend, but got distracted by video games.
