I don't feel that brave, lol. I'm in my late 20's and just now thinking about all this, I feel so late to the party. And I really haven't done that much experimenting, probably only a dozen times ever wearing real makeup or women's clothing. I think I want to change that in the near future, which is the reason I'm posting here I suppose.

Lipstick isn't that hard to wipe off, in fact it can be hard to find one that will stay on all day and it's kind of hard to keep that shit on. I put some on recently and it was barely noticeable after a couple hours of sipping on my drink and watching TV. You could wipe it off quickly, and if your lips are still a bit colored and you need an easy lie, say you have some flavored lip balm like this pomegranate one that's very red and tastes great. It's not nearly as apparent as lipstick, but it still kind of reddens your lips in a way that's fun to experiment with. I wore it to work all the time and no one ever commented. You could get some of this if you want to try something very low key instead of lipstick.

Also, next time you do your shopping you can grab the cheapest pair of panties you can find. You can do the self check out (same with lipstick!). No one will care you're buying panties (they could easily be for wife/girlfriend), but you will probably still be nervous and that's fine. Even wearing them noone will be able to notice, and you won't have to worry about changing quickly.

Even easier, have you tried FaceApp? It's an app that can transform your face with bunch of different filters, some which are genderswap filters! I found it pretty exciting to see a couple different feminine versions of my face, and worth a couple bucks for the app.

This is all in your reach! Nothing you try is a permanent commitment either. There are all kinds of ways to experiment with these feelings and find out what you like. I'm talking to you as much as myself here, lol. I think I'm going to shave my beard soon, I want to start practicing makeup since I know I'm going to suck at first and look horrible.

I have gone through exactly what you are going through, the most important thing is to remember you are not alone.

The important thing is to separate the thoughts from the feelings. I was also in a place where I would feel anxious around men and my attraction to women had lowered, so I put 2+2 together despite never finding men sexually attractive/never fantasising about men. How to overcome this is to embrace uncertainty. To just allow the feelings to just be there and not to try and overanalyse them. You sound like me, so wrapped up in your insecurities that you are overthinking your every move and you can't see straight. Take some time to just allow the feelings to be feelings and you'll feel better.

The most important thing you can do is see a therapist right now. It will be the best decision you will ever make. I know this is hard to hear but you have to stop using the internet as a checking source. Stop looking for solace in reading coming out stories or posting on forums like this and most importantly, stop analysing every feeling you have.

If for whatever reason you can't see a therapist (or to supplement your time with them) I recommend this book:

I'm still in the whole figuring-things-out stage of things (although I'm leaning towards "genderfluid"), but I've been enjoying these in terms of underwear. They're cut for folks with penises, but especially the pastel-colored ones make me feel more girly. http://www.amazon.com/Fruit-Loom-Wardrobe-Bikini-Briefs/dp/B005CW07S6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1452701342&sr=8-3&keywords=fruit+of+the+loom+bikini+men
