This fits the GRIII perfectly. I use a wrist strap on the camera hanging out of the case, with it slung over my back on bike rides.

Has anyone had any luck with tiny key rings that fit the small strap holes on the GRIII? They are so small and the radius is too tight for all of the rings I've tried. I'm currently using a peak designs tether attached to the camera but it is a silly solution as I'm not using a peak designs wrist strap with it.

Ok so what you need is:

  • Paracord
  • OpTech adapter kit

I suppose if you didn’t care about it being removable you could use a very small split ring on the camera and then attach the wrist strap to that without needing to buy the OpTech kit.

  1. Cut your paracord into roughly the length you want. I’d make it a little longer than you think to allow for the loops and you can shorten it when you’re tying the second loop anyway.

  2. Tie a loop at each end of the paracord. I used this knot: https://www.animatedknots.com/perfection-loop-knot

  3. Using a girth hitch, attach the female side of the OpTech kit to one end of the paracord https://i.imgur.com/Lz8wHuU.jpg

  4. Put that end through the loop at the other end https://i.imgur.com/nc6bozr.jpg

  5. Attach the male end of the op tech kit to the camera using a girth hitch again https://i.imgur.com/z6p1WHM.jpg

Should be left with something like this: https://i.imgur.com/DuHr1d1.jpg

Let me know if you have any questions.

I bought these for my XZ-2 Olympus and they are a perfect fit for the GRiii also. I'm getting same battery life. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008KO2GZA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

From the thread below............check if they're available in Europe.. Look for Li-90B, what's great about this particular set is that it comes with a charger that you can plug into a portable battery bank and charge 2 at the time on the go.

I just picked up one of these from Amazon but that's in Canada.

An extra battery fits in either of the pockets. Fits also in the main compartment, but it'd be in direct contact with the camera if not protected somehow.

Mine's the original version, though it looks like there's already a V3.0:

I picked up a Hermitshell travel case along with my Ricoh GR ii. Arrived yesterday. Works well as a case to toss into my messenger bag. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018I5PWH4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Image Sync sucks really hard, at least on Google Pixel. Rumor has it there was supposed to be a totally new Image Sync by Oct 1 but that's come and gone and still no updates on the Ricoh Image Sync page. I've resorted to taking the SD card and getting a usb-c to SD reader that I plug into my Pixel and I pull the pictures off manually that way.

There's no excuse for the app to be this shitty since Sony's Playmemories app for A6000/6300/6500/A7 etc works 100% flawlessly.
