This is the dehumidifier I used in the dorms last year. It will only need to be used a few weeks of the school year, but is definitely a good idea to have. This one worked great with no problems.
Cengage (the publisher of the textbook in question) sells an "unlimited" pass for $120 for one semester; $180 for 365 days; or $240 for 730 days. Link

That's intriguing. The same book is used (at least for now, anyway) for Calc II (Math 2423), Calc III (Math 2433) and Calc IV (Math 2443). Paying $240 for two years of codes + free online text usage seems like a good deal. Of course, if the Math Dept. changes textbooks in the next two years, it'll be a waste of money, but probably worth the risk.
