I replaced my 2011 impreza with an aftermarket CarPlay stereo. Basically stick to a name brand (boss, kenwood, sony, JVC, Pioneer) and you should be good. These are what I used to replace my stock stereo.

Headunit
Plastic Double Din Spacer
Wiring Harness

Hope that helps. :)
Hey, EastPhilly! I am actually working on trying to get a winjet fog light set installed in my 2013 Impreza and found your comment super duper helpful. I’m just trying to figure out how you would know exactly which relay and H11 adapter to buy?
More specifically, which relay should I get from eBay and where exactly does it go in the relay button section in the car (user manual wasn’t helpful)? Also, which H11 adapter should I get from Amazon - is this the one you got? (Not sure if it’s a 9006 I should be looking for)
it's complicated, i did it when i first bought my 16'.
and don't let just any audio installer do it, they'll just hack the shit out of the harness.
you need about $200 in parts besides the headunit to do it properly
shit and it looks like the link to the blog on how to do it is gone :(
http://roflitsowens.blogspot.com/2015/12/2016-subaru-wrx-replacing-starlink-head.html
basically you need:
dash install kit
wire to keep OEM backup camera
30pin adapter you'll cut it in half and use it for hooking all these various things together
Maestro to retain steering wheel control, there's a cheaper version though with less features
adapter to retain USB
adapter for stock antenna
adapter for radio so you don't have to cut anything
and i'm pretty sure i'm forgetting something else.
most of these things all have to be wired into the 30 pin connector, it was much easier to figure it all out on my workbench and solder it properly then install everything, took me about 2 days to do.
This is the current basket I have right now here . Only thing I did was add a camo vinyl to the fairing. The old one is here , but I don’t recommend it due to its flimsiness. The tow hook is just an aesthetic tow hook from amazon as well, it’s non functional.
Lemme give you a hand with that.

Cheers.
I personally use this and swear by it. Best waterless wash ever.
I ended up installing one of these . Makes draining the oil easier and cleaner. Plus less likely of over or under tightening the drain plug.
\> going to get swirls that require a very fine polish to remove.

I use this to dry off: It's a glorified squeegy but it works very well to limit the amount of cloth contact with your car. Two years, normal washing and waxing, no swirls.

So I was leaving work yesterday, and I noticed this was missing when I got to the parking lot. I don't know what happened to it. I didn't hit anything, and I don't remember hearing anything while I was driving. Anyways, this looks like an easy fix. I'm looking at ordering the piece online and replacing it myself. Is this the correct part?

Looks like Amazon still has some in stock for the 2017 Impreza, Subaru OEM too.
I like having the center dimming mirror, not sure how I got it though, I wasn't charged for it. I wouldn't mind having the side mirrors dim too, but I wasn't going to pay extra or give up the manual transmission to get it. Personally, I don't want or need a bunch of extra stuff.
Start the car, let the system get started and then plug the phone in. I still occasionally will have issues where it doesn't start Android Auto, but it's limited to about once every other week or so.
Sorry, no tickets.

That appears to be it. Same thing happened to me on my 2013 Impreza Sport (but i hit a cardboard box on the highway).
BTW, it pops right in in 2 seconds.

I went with these because I preferred the black/more subtle rally armor logo, they are the same as the red logo ones you linked:
Rally Armor MF12-BAS-BLK Basic Black Mud Flap with Logo (Universal Fitment (no Hardware)) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C3AIOTY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BOljDbWFQXYYB

You can get them cheaper if you find the “Universal” flaps and provide your own mounting hardware.

I bought this. Very easy to remove, a little annoying to install. Aligning the securing screw through the rack into the roof is sometimes a little tricky but I can still install in less than 10 min.

get something like this for cleaning the inside of your windshield. As long as your spray the cleaner on the tool and not the inside of the windshield, you will have no problems with Eyesight.
Did you get the ID numbers for the TPMS sensors? I bought a scanner for reading the numbers (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AERMVYC/), as well as the tool for uploading the numbers into the Subaru (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008SCWXN4/), but I've not been able to read the sensor ID numbers from the new sensors. The upshot is my TPMS monitoring light is on all Winter. The sensors TireRack gave me are just listed as "433MHZ TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR" and they weren't able to give me the ID numbers...
