What exactly are you selling? Are you selling direct to consumers or to distributors? Are you in a legal state? What R&D has your company done to match your product to the needs of the consumers?

There are more internet forums devoted to Cannabis growing and consumption than any other topic that I know of. There are volumes of information on the internet, in books, and on youtube. I would suggest you start reading, and assuming you are in a legal state, then get your company to pony up for you to start your own small grow operation using their products (if that is what they are selling). Just because you are growing it doesn't mean you have to start smoking it...you can always donate the finished product to medical patients in need.

Just like selling any other product, know what your consumers want and then cater to those needs. Go to the stores selling your product and talk to the Store Managers. Look at what your competitors are doing! Learn the regulatory environment. Watch youtube videos and go to Trade Shows. Visit your customer sites.

Here is a nice book to get you started: https://smile.amazon.com/Cannabis-Encyclopedia-Definitive-Cultivation-Consumption/dp/1878823345/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1498664682&sr=8-3&keywords=jorge+cervantes

Growweedeasy.com is another good place to get started growing. Reddit has many subs including /r/microgrowery /r/macrogrowery /r/trees

Ok so i have found some solutions that seem like they will work.

We currently are going with:
Trendnet NVR, and sv3c poe bullet cams, reolink wire free

The cameras need to use "onvif" whatever that means.

Cheapest option:

The cheapest option I have found was just buying 4 of these. Funlux 8 cam poe system
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YGS34L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_8bQGzbZEK9YTR

Power supply for backup, cabling supplys, 4 port kvm switch, a monitor and it seems like we could meet all regulations. It's sounds sloppy but would probly get the job done.

Cameras I liked and think would also work:

  • reolink
  • defeway
  • amcrest

Things that are not in regulations that I think you should go with:

  • poe
  • NVR
  • wired
  • wider angles
  • weather proof inside
  • 1080p
  • I personally like the bullet cams better maybe just for looks, and obvious reminders that they are there instead of trying to blend in
