As far as mice, I used to use a naga back in cata/mop when binds were getting to be like 60+ including arena macro's and such. However, since blizz got rid of most abilities I have ditched the naga and I just use the SteelSeries Rival - very comfortable gaming mouse with two buttons on the side. I highly recommend this mouse, plenty of players use naga but for me personally it's an overwhelming amount of potential binds at this point.
Imo the best mmo keyboard to help out with some additional binds is the noppoo choc mini with cherry mx red switches. It's a mini keyboard and the F keys are located directly above the numbered keys so they're great for binds - after I ditched my naga I picked up this keyboard and those F keys are plenty to be able to comfortably bind everything without having the naga overkill.
I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please let me know!
OP, I got you. I was in a similar situation, not sure if I'd like all the buttons on the side. Went with the razer naga trinity (https://www.amazon.com/RAZER-NAGA-TRINITY-Optical-Interchangeable/dp/B0788MCRGC). The side plate is interchangeable with 3 different button configurations including the traditional 2 side button options that you're used to. The side plates are magnetic and changing them out takes only a few seconds. I love it, I use the one with a shit ton of buttons when I play wow/arenas and its great, but I often swap it out for the traditional style when I play FPS games such as pubg/bo4. It made the commitment to spend money much easier and if you realize you like the shit ton of buttons side plate, you'll have a reference when you go to buy your next mouse.
I recently bought two 8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ controllers and have been playing Tekken 7 very comfortably with them. Worth to have a look, I'm very pleased after a week of heavy use in Tekken 7 and Forza Horizon 4!
I use the Logitech G600. It's got a bunch of programmable buttons, and a modifier button to assign a completely different value to those buttons, so it's something like a 28 extra button mouse.
