This will depend on the product. For example most sardines, will list the nutrition facts with the olive oil drained. Whereas (I just learned now) canned beans will generally list the facts with the liquid included.

You can tell because the USDA Database shows that 130 grams of "Beans, pinto, mature seeds, canned, solids and liquids" is 110 calories and that matches what my can of pinto beans lists; compare this to the 150 calories in 130 grams of "Beans, pinto, canned, drained solids".

Note - it's a lot easier to do this in Cronometer, since it does the math for you (the cups to grams part).
