You people. You people here? Oh, I've missed this. You are enough.
Although many many snarkers have told me how powerfully I've changed their lives, even through my own pain and suffering, I had to delete my old account for various reasons. So this account? I've made this account so I can do more than lurk the funniest thread on my favourite r.

And I'm here to ask, why has nobody told me the important news that BOTH GFG AND DOOCE have essays in this book? Did I miss people talking about it?

Also, gfg was meant to be doing an event in conversation with the author on 14 October, but did it happen? Social media doesn't seem to think so. Was it talked about here?

And I'm here to tell you that this book? Oh, this book. While radically healing from my account deletion I'm thinking of prostrating myself at its feet, allowing the budget to change and spend the $AUD9 for an e-copy, sitting meditation on it in the gloaming, letting its shardly prose shatter on my nubbly cortex, then sharing over a fire with You People after which we'll write our snark on pieces of paper that we throw into the fire. Then we'll do it all again when the book of essays is birthed!
(all snark aside, I quite like the author's illustrations and some of the essays that aren't from bloggers look pretty good).
