Reddit reviews A Portrait of Dorian Gray

Hey so there's a real book called A Portrait of Dorian Gray which frequently gets confused with the original to the point where even Amazon has the original book listed for sale with the wrong title


This isn't an ME, it's a pop culture clusterf**k.

Here is another that Amazon calls "A Portrait of Dorian Gray" but on the image of the book it says "The Portrait of Dorian Gray." At least it isn't "picture."

This must be common enough, because typing "portrait of" into google produces "Dorian Gray" as the first suggestion.

But I am unclear on what this ME is claiming as both versions exist, did only one exist before?
