Good PSA. I keep mine in the original plastic packing, roll the top, then put a binder clip on to hold it. In fact, our kitchen has tons of those binder clips because they make great closers for items in the cupboard and freezer alike.

Three ring binders the kind with transparent pockets on at least the outside - your DM can print anything they need and slip in those pockets (this is usually the player's side so you may want to suggest the things you frequently look up as fodder for this side). The ring binder side I usually load with a few page holders (transparent plastic pockets) and as DM I load these with printouts of the things I need to look up frequently as a DM).
You can put multiple binders (at least two) together so that they help each other stand up - I usually make them stick together by using those 'pinch style' paper clips... ACCO Binder Clips you see them in this link
