My coworker and I did this two years ago. We got “Alice In Wonderland” costumes from Amazon and just removed the white apron on the front.

You can find appropriate Halloween costumes. I have a 13yo I've managed to never send her out looking like a rapist bait. Even this year. She went as Alice from Alice in Wonderland there were about 12 different Alice costumes, some would land you on an MTV series about teen pregnancy, and others wouldn't.
