Try these beans if you can find them at your grocery store - they are mildly spicy and are amaaaazing - really so good you can eat them plain, but you could always eat them with your chickens. They're more expensive than the regular brand beans, but I think worth it if you can spare the money. You could also add another egg during the day as a snack - just hard boil a bunch together, then grab and go. I eat hard boiled eggs with a tiny bit of salt and dip in mustard.
