Ansel Adams: 400 Photographs. Fantastic compilation covering a broad range of his work. I know that most people have seen his work, but this book was extremely inspiring and a testament to his skills.

I am someone who gives critiques on based on what they're worth, visually speaking, having spent time on educating myself on the subject of photography. Story is nothing, if the images are bad.

That being sad, I'm not oppressing anyone's opinion - indeed, check your own reply on my comment, and see what you wrote: "Who the fuck should care about your criticism?"

Feel free not to care, if you prefer, but as long as I'm not being oppressed, I will leave my opinon as it is just as valid as anyone else's, even though perhaps a bit more educated on this particular subject.

Again, I'm not commenting on anyone's comment saying the images are beautiful (with which I strongly disagree nonetheless) and calling them stupid/asking them who the fuck they are/telling them no one cares. So, before calling me the internet police, stop being the internet police.

Also, may I suggest some reading on photography, and maybe some fine example of photographic works you could benefit from viewing and then maybe you'll be able to give some constructive criticism, or at least start a proper argument other than just asking others about who the fuck they are?

The Photographer's Eye - Michael Freeman [composotion compendium, a bit generic, but very good for beginners and advanced alike]

Ansel Adams - 400 Photographs - a quick look into the world's most famous and most essential landscape photographer. His works go well beyond his own photos, having developed some of the most accurate techinques for proper focusing and exposure himself

Magnum Photos - a collection of works from Magnum photographers. Magnum is possibly the most renowned photographic agency in the world, founded by Henri Cartier-Bresson, father of modern street photography, and Robert Capa, probably the most famous war photographer

500 photographers - a quick list of young emerging photographers, a very interesting overview of where modern fine art photography is going among young photographers

Phlearn - this is actually a YouTube channel, very good learning tool on basic retouching techniques, including handling of colors and lights in post production.

I hope you can appreciate this. Also, the best way to become able to understand and separate bad pics from good ones is by looking at tons of good ones. So feel free to PM me should you need more sources or links!
