Get them on Amazon. $38.99 will buy you a 5 lb bag including shipping. That's less than $8/lb.
However, I made paleo pancakes using bananas, almond butter, and eggs once. It was fantastic and no almond flour required. Put some local honey on top as the syrup.
Not my Friday yet, sadface. Back to 183.2/4/whatever, the normal bounce between pounds.
I am excited for Sunday, though! I am making spritz cookies!! My mom traditionally makes them with almond flavoring, and makes little green trees. X3 I am excited! Annoyance, though - I don't have any cookie tins, so yesterday I sent an email to my team to see if any had any I could borrow. Because this silly programming team of ladies LOVE their cookies and cakes and all that bad stuff. Well, whaddya know? Not a single reply. I'm pretty sure a lot of them dislike me - simply for the fact of being a newcomer female into the team from elsewhere, intruding on their territory and being better at their job than most of them are. The guy I trained with has absolutely no problems, of course, because he's the only male on our team, youngish, and all of the ladies (40's and up) coo over him. Ugh. I don't miss the dirty looks they shoot at me when I say hi. :( Freakin' women.. more territorial than men, I swear. This is why I try to hang out around guys!
Uh.. back to the cookies. Right. I got almond flour from this brand rather than Honeyville because it's a bit cheaper at the moment, and my Swerve came yesterday as well! :D Much baking will ensure on Sunday... AFTER I go to Wally World to buy cookie tins, of course.... I'll probably be nice and bring cookies to work anyway, since hubby and I definitely will be able to eat them all ourselves! Hah.
I'm not sure where you live, but in the US almond flour is becoming pretty available. Walmart/Kroger generally carry the 1lb bags and Sam's Club/Costco carry the 3lb+ bags (cheapest option for me).
Then of course comes the Amazon options that can be more expensive.
I got Blanched Almond Flour, and I am very happy with it.
Coconut flour is way different. It needs more liquid, more eggs, and tastes a lot like coconut.
Shop on Amazon and have almond flour shipped to your house.
I don't buy much on amazon for Keto, use the crap outta that site for everything else though. Things I get from amazon for keto are

Keto is low carb, however you achieve that low carb is up to you. Almond flour and protein powder is for cookie dough, quest bars for if I get hungry during school.
