I put these on my truck last year.

I got the 6” wide ones that go wheel to wheel (for bed access)

They are wide enough to protect the truck from cars opening their doors into me and that I can actually use them as a step (it’s really hard for me to climb in and out of my tundra with my short ass legs without it)

All aluminum with rubber mat the entire length of the step.
