I'd recommend the acer if you're willing to accept the added price as g sync is objectively better than freesync for an nvidia gpu, but at a higher price point.

Thanks for your reply, I just realized I didn’t even link the monitor. Just to be clear: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B077K87CWL?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title so any vesa mount should work?

Edit: did research you are right. Thanks man!

Ultrawide aside, this monitor checks all your boxes:

Free sync 2 is also compatible with nvidia cards/ g sync as well. The curve is certainly nice too.

The 2060 super is right next to the 1080 in terms of performance, though you do get the ray tracing and features that comes with the 2xxx series. That CPU is sick though! I think you can pull it off with the right amount of cooling in your case, you may want to OC your GPU a little bit and I'm sure you could pull similar results.

edit: I just want to let you know from my experience, couch PC gaming, unless you only plan to use your PC as a dedicated gaming machine, isn't the most fun thing to have to deal with. I bought this for when I needed to tab out or change settings in Windows, and it may look pretty convenient but having to set it up every time I wanted to play, swapping out my headphones and mouse back and forth, it isn't as glorious as you may think it is. Totally worth a try, but I just wanted to let you know what I thought of the couch pc-gamer experience.

FWIW; if I could go back in time I would have just used the money I spent on PC-to-TV peripherals for a slightly better monitor like this sexy mama jama.
