Most consumer motherboards don't come with a TPM chip built in. They just come with a header to plug a stand-alone one into. The header is down along the bottom of the board.
I believe it's this model that's compatible with your mobo: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DQQLH74/
You are probably missing a TPM (you can confirm it in Powershell with the following command: Get-Tpm )
Most laptops come with a TPM chip, but on a desktop computer (especially one that is self-built) they aren't included, you need to buy a module like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Asus-TPM-M-R2-0-14-1-Module/dp/B01DQQLH74/ref=sr_1_1 and plug it into your motherboard.
Would this one work? None of the branding is great on them, but I have a similar msi one that is working as intended for the same reasons as you stated.
Just ran into this today. Built an ASUS x570 Prime Pro system recently, noticed the 14 pin TPM header on MB keyed on pin 14, so ordered a 14 pin TPM from amazon after some basic searching where it seemed there was only 2 possible modules.. a 14 pin and a 20 pin.

WTF ASUS¿
re: TPM: something like this should work on the MB I'm mentioning?

re: USB
This MB apparently has 1 USB controller only, does this mean, using Qubes on it, is not advisable ? or can you think of any work around?
