Hard to answer without knowing what classifies as a fortune. This guy is on sale at the moment. It meets the recommended requirements for Zoo Tycoon. That way as expansions come out/you play other games, you won't be stuck with something that just runs the base game.

Generally speaking, you're going to need at least 8 GB of RAM (you can always add more later on) and please for the love of god get one with an SSD as the primary hard drive. For those reasons this one might be a good choice, too.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't help that much. The laptop I've linked is around CA$1000, and to get any meaningful upgrades, your budget would probably need to be anywhere from CA$1400 to CA$2000. You could spring for the upgrade to a 512GB SSD and a GTX 1650 (CA$1050), but an upgraded graphics card won't have as large of an impact on CAD compared to CPU upgrades.

   hp one is the cheapest but some of the versions lack ssd, or an upgrade of RAM becomes impossible and i doubt the monitor is any good.
   there is also dell g3 and g5 for budget laptops but i heard bad things said about them

Look for something with the new gtx 1650 or an older model with a 1060. You could easily max out the older games you play as well as play newer titles on medium settings.

Seeing your comment about keeping things under $1,000 I believe I can recommend some decent options.

First and foremost: do most of your shopping pre-owned if you roll that way. You can nab some really good prices for things if you look in the right places. eBay, local Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace is a haven for full-on desktops but sometimes have laptops too. LetGo sometimes has them. Basically, make sure you're thorough.

Second: For a under $1k price range, Sager/Clevo seems a good option. Good specs at lower costs. Just make sure to also invest in a heating pad, as it's not uncommon for gaming laptops to get a little spicy under duress. You can actually custom build a Sager on their official website (through presets they provide, but it still allows for customization) if you're curious about tooling the specs.

Third: Consider the brands you select. Do research on the best brands and be open-minded to your options. I myself have used HP Omen laptops and have found them suitable and a pleasant experience, but I know some people would avoid them like the plague.

Another recommendation is to search the graphics card you want and find benchmarks for various games (I prefer Technical.City benchmarks as they do LOTS of games and provide a visual to show it's performance compared to minimum and recommended specs.)

Well the FX505 has objectively better specs for the money (refreshed model even has a faster Ryzen 7 CPU), so you are only really deciding on whether the aesthetics bother you enough that you would forgo that fact for a non-gaming look.

I have dual storage in my pc, but my main concern is it being quiet.

I found one in another post that I'm thinking of now. It has an open spot for a hard drive too if I decide later I need more. I want to find a store to go check out the build quality before jumping the gun, but with a gtx 1650 and a ryzen 7 it should be able to manage all I need and it's only 899 plus I can do the amazon pay per month no interest thing. I'm going to research into this one a little more.
