Oh no, definitely not. Schizophrenics can have very, very intense hallucinations and delusions. I remember reading a true story book a while ago...this one. http://www.amazon.com/Autobiography-Schizophrenic-Girl-Story-Renee/dp/0452011337 The things I read in that book were the most insane things. Things like believing she had a doomsday device, and people's teeth turning into piano keys. It's been like 12 years or so since I've read it. It was crazier than the craziest acid trip you've seen on TV. Schizophrenics invent entire people (think Fight Club, and A Beautiful Mind), and may even hallucinate the world ending with fire falling from the sky.

Not for kindle- but I've found it can be e-rented through local library sources. The book gave me hope and helped me feel less alone during a hibernation-like phase post psychosis. I bought a hard copy I read bits every now and then.
