If you can get a referral to a urologist, there are options like prophylactic antibiotics to be taken when you have sex or what they call "self-start" antibiotics where you check for infections when you think you have one (there are tests you can buy that are made by Azo) and then you go fill your standing prescription without having to see a doctor.

In the meantime, you can probably buy a pack of UTI tests and see if you have a UTI or just irritation. You could consider trying female condoms or polyurethane condoms in case you have a sensitivity to latex that's causing the symptoms. When you have painful urination, there's some amazing pills that you can buy over the counter in the US. It turns your pee Gatorade orange but relieves most symptoms. Make sure you see a doctor or take a test before taking them, because they'll screw up the dip test since phenazopyridine is actually a dye, but they're basically a miracle drug.
