With an old wifi card, you have 3 options. Upgrade your wifi, downgrade to a supported win, or run a current linux.

I would suggest buying a new wifi card first, as they are as cheap as $10, and much easier then anything else.

I would also very much not rec downgrading windows, at least depending on the version. If the wifi card needs anything before 7, it isn't worth it.

Linux, while free, and safer then a downgraded windows, is a bit more work. Still, as a linux user, I cant not suggest it.

All in all I really suggest you just get a new wifi card. Here is one on Amazon for $7.50. Its not the best, but it will work fine for most things.

I hear the Belkin N series are pretty good. They also feature built-in Miracast (wireless display) (some of them anyway) which you might care about.
