I think Crocs are great for the garden. That's what they were made for. IMO, that's where they should have stayed.

There's some heel but it's not too big. I've worn shoes with big heels and I'm already 6'2 so I sympathize with you there.
Wear these. This is what we use in kitchens. They are comfy, easy on your feet, enhance your posture and are non-slip.
