This is probably one of the most useful items on my list since I will be moving out soon and I will be needing a toaster for sure :)

If you find one you're happy with, let me know; i'm in the market for my dad. So far these suggestions have been extreme overkill or asking why you need a BIFL toaster because "they don't break." Maybe we should try /r/goodvalue or go through some of the previous posts about this subject.

The article looked promising, and even though some of the highest rated ones had digital readouts and cost close to $200 USD, there were a couple decent no frills options that might suit our needs. I'm kind of leaning towards this Black & Decker with wide slots, that comes in a two or four slice model. The two slice is 28.48, four slice is 35.99 and it has 978 reviews, averaging 4 out of 5 stars.
