I'm a moderate to heavy business user, and never really have a problem with battery life. That said, I keep one of these plugged into my car outlet just in case. Swapable batteries are great.
Unless it's just the screen protector -- you won't be able to get it in the holster. The holster is a snug fit to keep your device safe. You don't need any other protection.
I also do have the BlackBerry flip wallet that I sometimes use. The holster is by far my favourite though.

What this guy said. Great little device, but battery life is meh. I have a Classic and my SO has a Z10. We both use our phones a bunch. She gets on average 8-10 hours of battery life, and I get something like 16.
