Oh yea you're right it is rca on the back. I bought this to plug into it. It seems to work in the ipod/mp3 jack. The jack labeled "headphone" does not fit.

Do you have an auction port? I'd get a aux to Bluetooth. Much better quality with that.

For anyone looking for a budget alternative, I just picked up the TaoTronics TT-BR010 last monday and i have been loving it. The audio quality isnt anything game changing, but it isn't bad by any means. I have been using it for the past 8 work days and i still haven't had to charge it. For casual listening while working it is absolutely perfect if you don't want to spend the $100 on the EarStudios.

Thank you! Although I couldn't find the product you said, typing it into google led me to the correct search terms to find this one. https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Receiver-TaoTronics-Wireless-Streaming/dp/B07D2C9K2X/ref=sr_1_16?keywords=bluetooth+audio+receiver&qid=1571140326&smid=A2KUZVNQ9LP7N9&sr=8-16

I'm in the same boat as you. Bought this a couple months ago and I've loved it.

It's not as ideal as a Bluetooth emailed unit built into the car, but it's done well enough for me. Press the button to turn it on when I get in the car and it automatically reconnects to my phone. Press the button to turn it off when I reach my destination and it stops my Spotify or podcast.

I think the only problem using this for you would be the limitations of your phone. You might consider upgrading that first. It's super handy to turn on the Bluetooth unit and say "hey Google, let's go to work" and have it do a variety of things like starting navigation, resuming my podcast, and telling me how traffic is looking. When I get home it's "hey Google, I'm home" and it turns on the lights inside before I get to the door.
