Totally worth it, too. I've been really disappointed by most TV show companion books, this is the best one I've ever read. Gives you insight into how the show came to be conceived, how it was pitched, how a season is blocked out, how an episode is produced...and in so doing, gives you insight into the world in which BoJack and co. live their daily lives.

No, at least for Bojack they‘re working with a Korean animation studio called Big Star Enterprise. But they have a design team in house (supervised by Lisa) that creates all the character puppets, mouth sets and special pose models.

Edit: If you’re interested in that sort of stuff and want to know more about the creation of Bojack I highly recommend The Art Before The Horse. It’s a fantastic high quality book about the inception and inner workings of the show and also a great way to more directly support the creators.
