Instead of dry shaking, you can use immersion blender or even an electric milk frother and then shake with ice

If you make coffee with milk/cream, check this out: a battery-operated coffee frother. About $15. Put it in a half-filled cup, froth for 20 seconds, then fill with coffee the rest of the way. You get a coffee-shop foamy cup of coffee every time.
Shaker bottles are kind of gross IMO. I could never really clean the smell of the milk and protein out of them completely. Get a milk frother instead. You can also use it to stir coffee and other shit to, it's like a mini blender on a stick.
