Going to jump on the G-Shock bandwagon. Just got this one to replace my son's last G-shock that lasted 4 years. He is really tough on watches/plays a lot of contact sports/basic teen boy. My husband also wears them in tough environments and also gets a good 3-4 years out of each watch. We replace the watches vs replacing the batteries because once the seal is broken on the back the waterproof integrity is compromised.
If you have a friend in the military G-Shocks are on sale often at the NEX and even regular price there is great.
Not bad, although I prefer models with the front mounted light button. I suggest looking at the GD400-1 or GD400MB-1.
