We're watching the the prophetic novel, Christian Nation come to pass. It's take on the 2016 election was scarily prophetic. The loss to Hillary and reason why. And this was penned in 2010. I sincerely hope we, as a nation, wake the fuck up.

That's basically the catch-phrase of this novel.

Add this to your reading list as another take on the transition of the US from representative republic to autocratic Christian Reconstruction state.

Well, since you asked..

I think the guy's just a narcissist. He doesn't really care enough about supernatural "belief", beyond what other people's beliefs can do for him in the market of public opinion. To me, that's one of the reasons he's so dangerous. He picked Pence for VP, seemingly just to try to appeal to the Dominionist crowd. Fred Rich wrote a novel that explains the kind of fear many folks feel about this scenario: https://www.amazon.com/Christian-Nation-Frederic-C-Rich/dp/0393240118

TL;DR: Once again, it's not about belief..but the damage done to society by the people who believe.

The military is decidedly republican.

Someone wrote a book about how it would go down... most likely it would turn into a Christian war.

This book imagined Palin was president... almost the same as Trump.
