I had one of these on my cheek, even after Accutane. I suspect it was a combination of cortisone shots and actual acne. It was definitely a scar, never came to a head.

My mom bought me this since she had used it after a surgery on a scar. I took a small (clean) manicure scissors and cut a piece to place over my (clean and dry) scar, then secured with a small amount of first aid tape overnight. It made a difference in the size and color but I had to be diligent.

(I noticed Amazon also sells just actual scar band-aid type things which may work, too).

cica care is the product i use. its what the therapist used on me back then.

I don't know much about them sorry and I haven't bought them yet because my pharmacy didn't have any, Im going to buy online soon. I think keloids can be permanent if not treated, but they can flatten and fade away with treatment.

They are just sticky by nature and washing them exposes the sticy silicone. I used Cica Care brand which is in Canada. I've also heard of ScarAway.
