I just picked up the Conan Omnibus Vol 1, 500 fully illustrated pages of the Dark Horse comics. Worth checking out if you into Conan! If you like it there are more volumes.

I think its also due to publishers deliberately printing less to ensure sufficient demand. I would swap you my Vol. 1 for the 3 but I've just discovered vol1 is now £200 (inc P&p)! So I'd then be missing Vol 1

I can recommend this edition of Dark Horse Conan. They feature original REH's stories adapted to graphic novel form. It is now available in an Omnibus collection, however I would stop at Omnibus 2 as the writers and artists were replaced with untalented hacks later in the run.

Born on the Battlefield is also a good read. It's a Dark Horse original story about Conan's youth. Also the Dark Horse King Conan books are good. They are adaptions of REH stories as well.


I can speak for this edition of John Carter, it was very good and highly recommended.
