For magfed a chest rig is a must. I've been playing magfed and using my chest rig for 2 months now, and I find it to be quite functional while staying somewhat on the affordable side. I can't speak for other mags, but the TMC's seem comparable in size to my T15's mags, so they should fit nicely (if you chose to go with the TMC that is).

here's the TMC modular chest rig. Comes with 3 M4 pouches, 2 radio pouches you canprobably shove an M4 mag into, dangler, and flap. They also have a cheaper Set B which doesn't come with the dangler or radio pouches.

When I first started I used a Condor Rapid Assault chest rig. It was alright for the price. It'll carry 6 m4 mags and you can attach whatever pouch you want to the molle.
