>28"-30" desktop is normal and considered comfortable

For the average height, not for mine. Even if i get myself high enough, my arms are forced at an uneven height and angle because of how my desk is curved in the front. I have to pull my right shoulder forward. Also, the circulation of my thighs gets cut off and my feet can't reach the floor because of the height i'm sitting at (keep in mind having a chair higher would make this even worse - i'm at least able to tiptoe the floor now, but i can't properly sit with my heels on the floor because my desk is too high, and the only way to fix this is by having a lower desk and a chair adjusted to a lower height.).

>Modify existing desk legs if possible by sawing them evenly

My current desk does not have legs.

>Purchase a wall mounted desk system that allows you to choose the height you mount your desktop.

This sounds more complicated than simply buying a sit-stand desk, although it might end up being less expensive? I still want it to occupy a corner though if possible, and not be straight against the wall. Again, i really need stability here as well, so i think that legs or a base would be a better option, but i have no experience with wall-mounted desk systems so they could be fine and me just not know

>Modify your search to find a children's desk at 24"H

Do childrens desks even exist that are as wide\deep as i specified in the OP? Either way, i would doubt the quality of such a desk, especially compared to those made specifically for those working in an office. It would probably be even more difficult to find something like this, if you search "kid desks" or something similar you tend to get a mix of desks meant for toddlers, absolutely normal desks (for some reason?), and an assortment of other stuff that doesnt meet what i said in the OP. the only thing that comes close to what i've said is a sit stand desk, and it's difficult to find inexpensive ones (this is the only one i've considered. Goes as far down as 21 inches. I have to choose between having a granite tabletop or only 24 inches depth though - thinking of going with the latter and running with it if i cant find anything else)
