Reddit reviews D.R.Harris & Co Windsor Mahogany Effect Shaving Bowl & Shaving Soap

DR Harris soaps are a great deal on Amazon - you can often find one in a wooden bowl for ~$25. I like Windsor and Sandalwood. Arlington is good stuff, too, although it isn't available through Amazon Prime at the moment (it does have free shipping, though).

Another great choice is Pre de Provence - either the original scent (a clean, "soapy" scent with light florals) or No. 63 (a warmer scent, with wood, leather, and citrus).

Most artisan soaps available through the Prime program are sold by third-party vendors who mark them up significantly to cover that "free" shipping. Chiseled Face Groomatorium was the exception, but they have apparently started fulfilling their own orders (and charging for shipping). There are apparently still a few jars of Santa Paula left in the Amazon warehouse, though.

I notice on Amazon (USA), the DR Harris Windsor hard shaving soap in the Mahogany bowl is $24.77 (+free shipping w/ Prime). I bought mine when it was around this price (normally $33-$37, I think).
