I have a soothing nightlight that really helps me. The star projector nightlight is a livesaver as I keep it on all the time and when I wake up from nightmares I can stare at the night sky till I go back to sleep. It's also comforting to not be in the dark when you wake up. For really bad night I have an Aurora Borealis Night light that is fantastic for the worst insomnia or mood swings.
