I have had various expensive cigar lighters due to smoking cigars for about 15 years now. In my experience, every torch lighter eventually craps out. The best return on investment I've ever got was with my current go to lighter, an Eagle single flame. I picked it up on sale at Menard's for $3, actually got two so I have a backup. Massive butane tank, and it just keeps running. At some point I expect it to die, but it won't bother me because it was $3.

I like this guy. The large tank doesn't need refilling too often, and it's just the right size to rest in the gap between my bong and WPA.
I've been using an Eagle torch with my Sticky Brick Jr daily for 2ish months now. It's lasted through at least 10 refills. Got it for 7 bucks at a convenience store.
Its all I've been using today, and I'm impressed. I have tried a couple of different strains of bud, and the taste is amazing. I don't think I have the right torch yet. I have a nice double and triple jet, for my vapcaps, but my single jets are the wrong shape to hold properly with this vape. Will report back when I get it.
Is it all vaporizing? You need to get it all, I keep the tip of the torch flame about an inch from the bulb but also adjusting it here and there as a torch will overheat the dmt, I use this torch which I find to be a very common one, your dmt should be vaporizing fast enough to inhale in one or two hits and leaving nothing but maybe a tiny bit of burnt residue behind
like the other person said they are resinous as fuck and difficult to burn, so adding some sort of tinder like regular flower helps, however, if you have a small torch like this they will burn fine on their own in a pipe. I wouldn't even bother with a joint or a bong though, it will just get clogged.
