I've always called them Chairman Mao caps. Amazon calls them Corps hats.

You're catching a bit of a beating in this thread. But I suspect it's because most of us were in a very similar place to you when we first started to attend to our style of dress. You don't have to replace everything at once. I'd probably advise against it actually, that often leads to a lot of regretted purchases.
