I decided it was time to get my home office in order. The desk needed to be big enough to accommodate my day-job laptop as well as my laptop that I use for my photography business. It also had to be small enough to fit in my master bedroom.

Inspired by the minimalist setup by /u/hazzid (https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/4iyjjw/new_house_new_setup_let_me_know_what_you_think_my/), I got to work.

Hadron_Music and I fanboyed a little in my comment but I'll throw my support in here too. The quality of the speakers especially for the price makes them so worth it. I got them from Massdrop specifically and there they were $50 cheaper than Amazon's current listing (which is for $200). They're not available now, but they do frequently come up on the site, if you look back in probably a month or so they'll be there. Quite popular.

But back to the quality, you'll not have an issue with the bass at all. It's one of the strong points of the speakers, IMO. It's especially incredible in games; I was playing Tomb Raider recently and the sounds of things like thunderstorms and explosions just felt so amazing. Highly recommend.
