I've used this one with Python and a Raspberry Pi to do make my a Donald Trump Twitter printer. I don't specifically remember what library I used, but it seems to work well.

Edit: I see it's unavailable now, but I think the same printer is sold under many different names.

If you want to find even older information just google "fake sneaker receipts" and you'll find tons of forum posts going back to 2011 or 2012, also receipt printers only cost about $40, so if you're going to try to sell people fake shoes that cost 200 a pair it seems like a fairly good investment.

You might try getting an inexpensive receipt printer such as the one below that has a USB interface and see if there are any standard Windows drivers available for it. Alternatively, there might be an application or script that can be used to send simple text & graphics to it. If you check the comments on this item, you'll see many people have had success with using this as a general purpose desktop "note" printer:
