I have extremely thick long hair and I use [Everyone brand shampoo](Everyone Hair Sulfate-Free Shampoo, Nourish, 20.3 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JJQ7K36/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ChaGDbWAVK17G). I also use the conditioner because I live somewhere humid and terrible, but they're both stupid cheap, don't irritate my allergies, and work really well for me.
I buy the one pictured above for my husband because he likes that particular scent better than the ones that aren't "for men". It's worth the eyeroll every time I look at the bottle.
