I don't mean to be rude here, but why is your 10 month old daughter still eating purees? I mean, spoon-feeding things like oatmeal, applesauce, yogurt, ect makes sense, but purees shouldn't really be needed anymore.
We skipped purees and at 6 months just started giving appropriate finger foods. I just cook up extra when I make things he can eat, and freeze it in bags or refrigerate it for the days where we aren't eating healthy or baby-friendly things, and take it out of the freezer in the morning or night before. It's a lot easier than purees!
But if you still want purees, you can buy refillable/reusable empty pouches similar to the store bought ones and put your own puree in them! So that way you/your wife can make a few to keep on hand and you both know what it is, but it's still convenient. Here's an Amazon link to some, I'm sure there's many to choose from though.
