Fill the bath first; then, bring in baby. It's loud, and for mine became "scary"... I don't know, as we'd been doing it for a solid year, but they decided it was time for change. 🤦🏼♀️
Make it more about playtime than bath time. My kids would bring in their favorite toys and have a "pool party"... commence mess, splashing and bubbles.
Blowing bubbles while in the bath can be fun too.
Bath pipe toy, bath fishing toys, and measuring cups were my kid's favorites.
