I completed Air Force officer training recently. My kit was a Tweezerman brush, stick of Arko, and the Gillette Custom Plus disposable. Don't let the price scare you away, that's actually 30 razors for $23.
BMT will be a lot more difficult than COT. I personally was able to find 30 extra seconds a night to build my lather. That's why I chose Arko, because it seriously is that easy. The time crunch may be different at BMT (do they time your showers/bathroom time?)
