I have used this this product weekly for about 8 weeks. Overall I like it. Easy to connect to my iPhone, never lost a connection, very loud alerts and seems accurate. One of my probes malfunctioned, customer service was great and sent me a total new unit.
It is still too soon to determine how long is will last.
One problem that I had was with the silicone ends on the probes. One would assume that they are there to allow you to safely remove the probe without getting burned, not so, they get very hot. Also, I used a new one today and had a flare up. The silicone caught on fire like a mashmellow. I would suggest they modify their product to remove the silicone which degrades quickly even w/o a flare up
On the picky side, they need to revise the probe description, it does not have a magnet which is a handy feature.
